The purpose of the Personnel Commission is to manage the personnel matters of the congregation in accordance with the Personnel Handbook, the Constitution, and any bylaws in conjunction with the church council. This includes reviewing and updating all job descriptions with input from the staff and church council, filling open positions (advertising, interviewing, and hiring), preparing suggested compensation package for St. John's, overseeing annual review process for staff including Creation Kids Preschool staff.

The members on personnel not on the church council are elected for three year terms. The commission meets the fourth Tuesday of each month and as needed for special circumstances.
