We are looking for more members, if you fee this is something you could serve on please let one of the above or the office know your wishes.

This commission provides volunteers for the Welcome Center each Sunday 7:30 am thru the end of the 10:15 am service. There is a new training session each year in September. Each person serves three times a year as assigned, finding your own replacement if you cannot be there.

This commission guides the Meals of Wheels program, we are actively looking for a coordinator for the program.

We provide volunteers for the office for various times during each week. We try to have someone commit to a certain time each month. We are looking for volunteers for Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. There is also a need for additional office coverage on Sunday mornings.

We coordinate the Funeral Luncheon Committee with volunteers each taking a month to organize workers and ordering the food for lunch. We also have a caller each month to call for cakes. Please let us know if this is a place where you could serve.

We are also available at short notice for office help with mailings (stuffing envelopes, sealing them or whatever the office staff needs).

We provide the Bereavement Committee which serves as St. John's host for funerals. If you feel this is a task of interest to you, call the church office (634-7110) so training can be provided.

If we have missed calling you to work at a funeral serving the luncheon, please call one of the commission members or the church office. We will make sure you are called to work at a luncheon.

This commission serves special occasion meals several times a year. These usually take place mornings, noon, and some evenings. Leave your name and telephone number with a commission member or the church office if you would like to help.

We also help various other organizations look for volunteers such as "ushers, readers, greeters".

All of the volunteers we use have training available.
