Youth and Family Ministries

St. John's has numerous opportunities for our youth to grow deeper in their Christian walk. Our focus in on strengthening the youth and families of St. John's through meaningful experiences and servant based activities. We strive to empower and equip numerous adult leaders to minister to our youth in order that we create a strong foundation for them where they will feel supported and valued.

Hannah's Testimony

Sometimes we see things much differently than God, but He always knows best. The day before the mission trip, I wasn't focused; I was busy and tired, wondering if this was a good time to leave the state for eight days... but I found out it was. When the last day came around in Cortez, I didn't want to leave, but when I did, I was different. Not only did the members of our church become so much closer to each other, but we grew extremely close with the other church and made new friends in faith. Most importantly, every single person became closer to God. We worked hard for other people only for a reward in heaven, and we spent time comforting kids who are filled with light even when they have darkness around them with the struggles in their lives and families. Although we did help these wonderful children, I believe they helped us so much more by making us thankful for the loving families and opportunities in our lives. The moving memories we all made truly changed us, and I know that with God's help, we are not afraid to shine for Christ and be different to further influence the world, thanks to our mission trip!
